Roots of a Family Business
Huynh Bang's company name originates from Mr. Huynh Van Bang, who ran a family business under his name.
Huynh Bang was known in the area for supplying the local area and its restaurants with ice cubes and soft drinks.
In that time, as one of the eldest children, Huỳnh Văn Ngày grew up with the entrepreneurial spirit of a family business and learnt to be proud of a flourishing business.
Huynh Bang Company founded by Mr. Ngày in 2003
In 1969, Mr. Huỳnh Văn Ngày received a scholarship to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Stuttgart in Germany.
Upon completing his studies, Mr. Huỳnh resided and worked as a Pipe Stress Engineer in Germany for 35 years, maintaining his connections and network in Vietnam throughout his tenure. When the Vietnam trade embargo was lifted in February 1994, many of Mr. Huỳnh’s former schoolmates and acquaintances had become factory owners seeking German-made industrial equipment renowned for its reliability to enhance their productivity. Recognizing the potential for contributing to Vietnam’s development, Mr. Huỳnh leveraged his engineering background to establish a business importing German-made industrial equipment and distributing it through his network.
This business model proved highly successful, prompting Mr. Huynh Van Ngày to return to Vietnam in 2003 and re-establish Huynh Bang Company in memory of his father.
Huynh Bang Company commenced as Vietnam’s representative for WEISHAUPT burners in 2003, importing and installing reliable and efficient oil, gas, and dual-fuel burners for the Vietnamese market.
In 2004, Huynh Bang also assumed the role of representative for JUMO, supplying Vietnamese factories with industrial sensor and automation solutions.
In 2007, Huynh Bang became the representative for VEGA sensors, encompassing level, point level, pressure measurement, and devices for integrating them into process control systems.
In 2008, Huynh Bang expanded its portfolio with hp-Technik, manufacturing oil pumps and nozzles.
2010 Huynh Bang managed together by Mr. Ngày and his son Khoa
In 2010, Mr. Ngày son, Khoa, also relocated to Vietnam to assist in the expansion of the family business. Mr Ngày focused on the strategic directions of Huynh Bang while his son Khoa was responsible for the operational side of the business.
In 2011, Huynh Bang became the partner of ecom and commenced distributing ecom's combustion gas analysers, pressure measurement and gas leak detection.
One year later, in 2012, Huynh Bang became the offical distributor of with Schmidt Technology for stationary flow sensors in the field of air and gases in Vietnam
In 2014, Huynh Bang formed partnerships with KEM for their mass flow meters and mechanical meters, Vaisala for their process refractometers as well as Canty for process cameras.
Sustainable Growth with shared vision and values
In 2015, Huỳnh Đăng Khoa took over the leadership role at Huynh Bang as Managing Director and Tôn Nữ Quỳnh Hương joined as Deputy Director responsible for Finance & Accounting as well as HR.
Together, they share and align the Team with the same vision and values to combine their talents and ideas to grow the business in a sustainable manner and bring the company's German-made solutions to as many Vietnamese customers as possible.
In 2022, Huynh Bang became the offical distributor for Meister variable area flowmeters and Optris non-contact infrared temperature measurement.
2023 was the latest addition to Huynh Bang's product portfolio with Vögtlin's precision flow instrumentation.
