Float switches and level transmitters
Float switches
Monitored levels are fundamental for an optimum operating status. If, in addition to level measurement, an alarm or other function is to be triggered in the event a specific level is exceeded or not reached, float switches are used. A float will switch a reed contact, and thereby the desired devices such as horns, pumps, or valves. Here, too, JUMO creates customer-specific solutions with the usual high production depth.
Level Transmitters
When it comes to transmitters, JUMO offers many high-quality devices for the level measurement of various measuring ranges and media. Through floats and pressure transmitters, different flexible solutions are available. Special requirements, such as communication interfaces with HART (R), explosion protection [Ex i and Ex d], shipbuilding, railroad application, SIL, or stringent standards for hygiene will likewise be taken into account.
Float switch with chamber
For point level measurement of liquids with chamber. In the event of a lack of space or turbulent media, the device is mounted on the side of the tank. Available with 1 float and up to 2 switching contacts as well as an optional temperature sensor/switch.

Float switch in horizontal design
The horizontal float switch can be easily mounted, e.g. on the side of a tank wall. Due to its construction it is suitable for the minimum and maximum limit level of liquids (MIN/MAX level). It offers up to 2 switching contacts for redundant level measurement. Thanks to Ex approvals, it is ideal for the chemical industry, power plants, machine and container construction.

Level transmitter via float
Quasi-continuous level measurement of liquids in storage tanks and containers via floats and a reed chain with a resolution of up to 5.5 mm. The level is available as a standard signal of 4 to 20 mA. In addition, a temperature sensor/switch can also be provided.

Innovative precision pressure transmitter with display
The device is used to acquire relative and absolute pressures in liquid and gaseous media. The measuring ranges are between 0.1 to 100 bar relative or 0.4 to 60 bar absolute. In addition to high process reliability and a rotatable housing, the JUMO DELOS S02 stands out with its real-time data transmission via Single Pair Ethernet or IO-Link interface. The intelligent pressure sensor is configured via Bluetooth with the JUMO smartCONNECT app.
