The CTi LT has a superior 8–14 µm spectral bandwidth. It is best for measuring high-emissivity materials and low-temperature targets with great accuracy. With a wide measurement range from -50 °C to 1050 °C, it works well for non-reflecting objects in various industrial processes. Additionally, its excellent optical resolution of up to 22:1 ensures accurate readings of small or distant targets while reducing background interference.

Built to withstand tough conditions, the CTi LT operates reliably at ambient temperatures up to 180 °C without requiring external cooling. Moreover, its special thermal-shock-resistant design ensures long-term stability, repeatability, and accuracy. The Optris CTi P3 pyrometer is designed for precise temperature measurement of thin plastic films, utilizing a spectral range of 3.43 µm for accuracy between 35 °C and 600 °C.

While plastics thicker than 0.4 mm and pigmented films are easily measured in the long-wavelength IR spectral range, very thin plastic films are transparent in this spectral range. Therefore, thin foil plastics require specific narrow-band sensitive IR sensors that match material-specific absorption bands in the IR spectrum to measure their temperature.

The IR thermometer has a rapid response time of 15 ms and can withstand temperatures up to 85 °C. Its electronics box offers various outputs, and optional accessories enhance functionality for industrial use.

Optris CTratio pyrometers use infrared energy measured with two wavelengths to improve measurement accuracy of high temperature metal surfaces when dust in the optical path or dirt accumulation on IR windows partially attenuates the infrared signal. The fiber-optic sensing head withstands temperatures of 200 °C and increases options for mounting of the separate configurable electronics box with cable length options up to 15 meters.
