Very high efficiency for low running costs and emissions
Thanks to the integrated economiser, the UL-S uses the energy supplied even more efficiently, saving up to 7% on fuel. An optional condensing heat exchanger can also recover almost all of the waste heat and reduce the flue gas temperature to up to 50 °C. Very low emissions (to below 50 mg NOx) are possible thanks to the large furnace.
Customised equipment and design with future-proof technology
The UL-S is individually configured for your application, and manufactured and equipped for easy planning and quick installation. The boiler and burner technology work effectively together, even when using multi-fuel firing systems. The technology can be retrofitted to run on climate-neutral fuels such as biogas, bio-oil or hydrogen at any time.
Extremely well proven design, highly durable and easy to maintain
The Bosch UL-S boiler design with asymmetrical arrangement of flame and smoke tubes results in natural water circulation for rapid heating and a dynamic response. The German-made construction has proven itself thousands of times and is particularly durable and easy to maintain thanks to its excellent accessibility.
Consistent steam quality for reliable supply
Thanks to the high steam chamber and three-component control, the UL-S offers excellent pressure consistency and steam quality, even when the steam demand fluctuates significantly. This optimises boiler operation and ensures reliable availability of the process heat. The Bosch system is particularly well suited to the food and manufacturing industries.
Custom designs and superheated steam options available
Bosch also offers the UL-S as a heat recovery boiler with firing and fourth pass for the proportional use of waste heat or as a pure heat recovery boiler. Another option is a hybrid boiler with an electrical heater rod for green electricity. The UL-SX can be fitted with a superheater module for use as a superheated steam boiler for steam turbines, as an example.
Smart boiler control and seamless system integration
The Bosch BCO boiler control system lets you easily control the UL-S using a touch display. The boiler system is compatible with all the usual process control systems. The optional efficiency assistant and protected remote access facility allow seamless Industry 4.0 integration. All control systems come pre-configured, fully wired and tested.
