The red-y compact series mass flow meters and regulators provide portability, flexibility, and convenience

The advanced compact unit can be equipped with various modules, including battery, power, alarm, or analog/pulse options. It is available in stainless steel or aluminum and features an intuitive backlit touch screen display, USB connectivity, and precise, reliable operation.

Advanced Alarm Functions

The new red-y compact features 3 configurable alarms. The following alarm modes are available: Max Alarm, Min Alarm, Range Alarm, and Totalizer Alarm

The alarms can be configured with different parameters: Normally open (NO), normally closed (NC), hysteresis, reset (automatic/manual or via input contact), alarm delay, and alarm duration

 

High-precision Valve

In the red-y compact regulator / all-in version with manual valves, high-precision needle valves are used. These valves allow fine adjustment of the flow rate.

Independent Operation

The red-y compact flow meters are powered by a standard AA battery. Optionally, 24 VDC and Micro-USB power supplies are available

All mass flow meters are available in both anodized aluminium and electropolished stainless steel.

The red-y compact is modular in design, allowing you to choose from various modules that can be added to the base model. The modules are interchangeable and can be added later, but only one module can be used at a time.

Battery module

The battery module is the default for the compact. With this module the compact can run on a single standard AA battery.

The unit also have a micro-USB connector that can be used as power supply and can also be used to update the firmware (See tab “Firmware”)

Power supply module

With the power supply module the compact can be powered from an external 15…30 VDC power source. The module comes with a 2 or 5 meter cable with fly leads

Power supply module with AC socket power supply

This power module comes with a wall plug socket power supply by which the unit runs of 100…250 VAC power. The module comes with a 1.5 meter cable and you can select a plug for EU, US, GB, AU or CN.

Alarm module

The alarm module option provides:

  • 3 alarm contacts (relays up to 1 amp, 30 VDC)
  • 2 optical isolated input channels (reset alarm)
  • Every alarm contact separately settable as
    • High flow alarm
    • Low flow alarm
    • Window flow alarm
    • Totalizer alarm
  • Hysteresis, delay and alarm duration time adjustable
  • Built-in 15…30 VDC power supply, polyfuse protected
  • 2 or 5 meter fly lead cable included
