The purflam® oil burner's unique technology combusts oil so cleanly that no soot is created and, at 70–90 mg/kWh, oxides of nitrogen are well below legal limits.
Weishaupt oil burners are suitable for Class D and Class A2 gas oil per BS 2869 (fuel oil EL and low-sulphur fuel oil EL per DIN 51603-1), and blended gas oil with a biogenic admixture of up to 20.9 % (fuel oil EL A Bio), which can be optionally increased to up to 30.9 %. Paraffinic gas oil (fuel oil EL P per DIN/TS 51603-8) can also be used
The oil pump is driven separately from the Combustion air fan. The fan is driven by a speed-adjusted dc motor that has its speed set to suit the burner's output. This minimises power consumption.

Purflam® burners are equipped with a digital Combustion manager and operate fully automatically. Capable microprocessors monitor and control all burner functions. Maintenance has also been well considered. A separate servicing position offers unparalleled access to the burner's components, and the quick-release housing saves time and money.
Weishaupt purflam®-technology effects the virtual gasification of the oil mist prior to combustion. The homogeneous air/oil mixture that is created burns with a blue flame and very low Emissions.

The Weishaupt WL5-40 compact oil burners (16.5 - 570 kW) Weishaupt WL5–WL40 burners cover a considerable capacity range up to 570 kW. Forced-draught oil burners are always the first choice when mains gas isn't available.
Highly reliable and safe, these burners are an ideal choice for domestic, commercial, and thermal process applications.
The Weishaupt WGL30-40 compact dual-fuel burners (70 - 550 kW) Weishaupt dual-fuel burners offer the flexibility of gas or oil-fired operation. In normal operation, gas is generally used as the main fuel. Remote fuel easily effected via the optional field bus expansion module.
